Upon conclusion of the introductory meeting with Preston Taylor Designs, clients are encouraged to do their due diligence and review the firm’s Informational Packet.  The folder includes: [Two business cards, License copy, Liability Insurance copy, Contact List, and Personal Resume].  The Contact List is comprised of previous clients who, when contacted, will share their experience and the Personal Resume outlines nearly 20 years of construction knowledge, skill set and qualification.

“Preston did an outstanding job on our recent basement and guest bathroom construction project.  We would recommend him, without hesitation, to friends and family considering construction design or remodeling work. Most remarkable, from our perspective, was Preston’s honesty and transparency in both pricing and project timelines, his clear communication throughout the project, his keen attention to detail, his creativity and sound recommendations that added value and kept costs under control.  Most importantly, his high quality workmanship. Based on his work and our interactions, it was clear to us that Preston cares a lot about his customers and professional results, an increasingly rare combination these days.  Bottom Line: Preston delivered an amazing and usable space for us at a very fair price and the experience was actually enjoyable.”

“My husband & I are so pleased with our kitchen renovation! Preston took the time to meet with us to discuss our vision of completely redesigning the layout of the kitchen, including moving doors and windows. As well as discussing all the “little” additions we wanted like a Farmers Sink, an island, a desk and a pantry.  He was able to incorporate all of these into his design, developing a functional, creative and affordable plan.  The actual demolition and construction period went smoothly – all the workers and subcontractors were a delight! The renovation came in on time, on budget and gorgeous!! Working with Preston was easy, non-stressful, with regular progress updates.  Preston is a true professional and we would hire him again in a heartbeat for our next project!”

“Preston took a tall ceiling and blank wall and created one of the most unique TV/entertainment areas I’ve ever seen. His attention to detail and outstanding creative style brought a very tall blank wall to life. Starting with the base cabinets made from old doors from a house built in the 1800’s, to the shiplap that dresses the angled 20-foot wall, to the porthole and lighted mantle. No detail was spared to bring just the right look to our new beach home. Preston was so easy to work with. He was able to take my requirements, create a design on paper, brainstorm with me on materials and design features and turn my vision into a reality. I highly recommend Preston Taylor Design!”

“I always had my reservations about remodeling my kitchen. I am a single dad and what I had served its purpose. And who am I kidding? I didn’t do much cooking anyway. So finally in the spring of 2015 I said, Why not. Fortunately, I have known Preston Taylor for quite some time and have always admired his work. I’ve seen first hand the renovations he’s done for clients and the transformation he gave his entire house. He truly has a skill set for that type of work. So based off that, I offered him the opportunity to renovate my kitchen. Thankfully I did. The overall renovation turned out great. Now I actually enjoy being in the kitchen and cooking. My kitchen always gets compliments when I invite people over. It has also encouraged me to look at renovating other areas in my home. I most certainly would recommend Preston for any type of home renovation. You can tell he values his work and enjoys what he does.”

In 2014, Preston Taylor Designs partnered with Bank of America and its affiliates to launch a renovation-donation project in Maryland. Our firm was assigned to facilitate design strategy, operate and execute renovations and deliver an end product that would symbolize appreciation.  The spirited donation ceremony was featured on local news stations WBAL and Fox45.  http://www.wbaltv.com/news/retired-army-captain-gets-renovated-house/27719980

“Preston provided exceptional service in the design/renovation of a Wounded Warrior donation home for our company.  The execution of the project was flawless with careful attention to every detail.  Everything went perfectly from beginning to end, a true rarity for most home renovation projects.  The finished result was outstanding.  A beautiful home we were proud to deliver.”

“We asked Preston to re-furbish our 22 year old powder room on the first floor.  It was in bad shape with peeling old wall paper and a leaky sink.  Preston basically re-did the entire room–new mirror, new lights, new crown molding and chair rail, new base molding, new toilet, new sink and vanity, etc.  He had some great ideas about colors and accents.  All the work  was done in an expert manner and at a very fair price.  There is a night and day difference now that the work is done.  If you want a job very well done, call Preston Taylor Designs.”
